Do not exercise if you're sick of this

Exercise is a great way to boost immunity, but when the body is sick whether you still have to exercise? There are some guidelines you need to know before deciding to exercise when sick.

Regardless of how often you exercise, maybe some people will wonder if allowed to exercise when the body is sick. It actually depends on the type of disease and body condition of each person.

But there are some general guidelines to keep in mind before deciding to exercise when you're sick, as reported by about.com, Thursday (16/11/2011):

1. Fever
If you had a fever then you should stay home and rest. Not only the body is fighting an infection, stay home and rest can prevent disease transmission to others. Usually not difficult to leave the sport when she was a fever because most people are more often sleepy.

2. Cough
When people cough a little bit more complicated to decide whether to exercise or not. If you're only an occasional dry cough, then there is no problem to continue with your exercise routine. However, if the cough is more frequently and interfere with the ability to breathe properly when the heart rate is up, you should consider resting until the cough improves.

3. Heart disease
Sports can not kill except in people with heart disease. If your condition does not fit then do not force yourself to exercise. In people with a history of cardiovascular exercise a forced exercise (not according to the ability of the body) can cause rupture of the layer of fat in the blood vessels that lead to total blockage and cause sudden death.

4. Disease that makes the body weak
The energy levels are one of the best indicators of whether you should exercise or not. If you feel tired then let your body rest and recover before continuing the exercise routine. But if you are just the common cold and still quite powerful, it could not hurt to keep exercising
